At its latest artist reception, to be held Monday, June 10, at Taipan Restaurant, 330 S. Hope St. (Wells Fargo Building), Los Angeles, Asian Pacific Friends of the Theatre will celebrate the seriously funny careers of:

? Deborah S. Craig, actor (“The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,” “Hart of Dixie,” Funnyordie.com)

? Prince Gomolvilas, playwright/storyteller (“Big Hunk O’ Burning Love,” “The Theory of Everything,” “Jukebox Stories”)

? Paul Kikuchi, playwright (“Ixnay,” “Wrinkles,” “Slice”)

? Aaron Takahashi, actor (over 45 national commercials, “Yes Man,” “Welcome to the Jungle”)

Moderated by Helen H. Ota, artistic director of Cold Tofu Improv.

Cost: $25 at the door. Reception at 6 p.m.; dinner at 7 p.m.; program at 7:30 p.m. Chinese buffet and no-host bar.

Performances by Craig, Ota and Gomolvilas will be followed by a panel discussion with the honorees.
